Safeguarding

The Safeguarding Committee serves as a resource for the groups, and the groups, in turn, are encouraged to provide willing trusted servants to do the good work of ACA at Intergroup level. As stated in Tradition 9, there is no governance or enforcement of rules in ACA. The safety of a meeting is the responsibility of all meeting members.

Social media platforms

When using social media platforms, like WhatsApp, be mindful about anonymity and discussing sensitive topics with others and prioritise your emotional well-being during these conversations. Social chat groups are not ACA Meetings. However, we recommend that any outreach takes place under the umbrella of the ACA Traditions.

Safeguarding committee

The Safeguarding Committee develops long-term strategies and potential resources to help the ACA fellowship effectively address common safety issues in and around all meeting environments.
